Neil, Best |
Dear WWG guys, So much to say! So lets just go down the line; Bo, Thank you so much for your help and patience with me and my orders. You Neil, Thanks for the warm feeling you give when entering WWG. You make WWG one of Brian, Hey buddy love the random chats about gear and so forth. You just Mark, *I love this guy* Thank you so much for your special touch... You do All in all, WWG is the Ideal place to shop gear. WWG offers uncompromising I only shop through these guys for several reasons and will share a couple I have shared the atmosphere and excellence of WWG with fellow With great appreciation, |
| Bo and Neil, I received my Eric Johnson Strat today, and I really have to give you guys a big thank you. I've bought my share of nice guitars and most arrive with at least some kind of problem - not only is the Strat lightweight and resonant, but every detail is perfect. The nut is cut perfectly, the bridge is actually radiused (what a concept), and the overall setup is just great, which almost never happens. I usually have to do a full setup when I get guitars. The finish is beautiful and the neck feels great. A perfect 10 all around. And you guys gave me the best deal in town. I just wanted to tell you I really appreciate the attention you must have given this guitar before sending it out. It's a tremendous instrument. Thanks again guys. I look forward to the next one. Juston |
Dear Wild West Guitars, Sincerely |
Hey Brian, Thank you so much for the great deal and the low pressure environment. You guys really are top notch! Probably the best in the
business. Take care, |
| Just wanted to thank you again for taking such good care of me. WWG is such an amazing one-of-a-kind store that offers an experience that is ABSOLUTELY well worth the trip. I did a lot of unsuccessful shopping around before Joey Allen (Warrant/H&K) recommended me to you. Most places didn't even have the amps in stock that I was interested in. Many of these dealers actually expected me to pay for the amp first, so they could order it and then I’d get to try it out. If they did have a particular amp in stock, I had to play through it wherever it was sitting (i.e. right next to a lesson booth or across from the cash register) If it was already in the “audition room”- great. If it wasn't, too bad. They weren’t going to move anything. They couldn't be bothered. I never got the chance to really turn any of them up much less COMPARE THEM SIDE BY SIDE! WWG is the only store I've ever been to that had literally everything in stock that I wanted to check out. It’s also the only place that allowed me to play rigs side-by-side and totally cranked up for a true and honest shootout. WWG will get a hearty recommendation from me to anyone who’ll listen. | To the Crew
@ Wild West Guitars,
I want to thank the entire crew at your store for all of the information, patience and respect shown to me during my recent purchase of my first electric guitar. I give seminars on customer service all over the United States. Your store is a great example of a group of guys that act together as a team to provide great service. I never felt rushed. My dumb questions were not treated as dumb questions. I was always greeted by my name. I always feel like I am walking into a private club and I am the only member. Neil spent a lot of time demonstrating different amplifiers and offering advice about what would suit my individual needs. I will mention your store in my seminars from now on as a real life example of a store that puts customers first. I love my new PRS. This has truly been one of the most fun purchases I have ever made. Now, about the VooDoo Lounge! This is the best place to see a band that I have ever been to. The atmosphere is relaxed. You feel like you are in a rain forest with all of the vegetation. The sound is great! Robben Ford was amazing! There is not a bad seat in the house. The clinic the next day had me mesmerized and bragging to my friends. I have already referred one person to your store who bought a Taylor T-5. I wish you continued success and a great 2006. Sincerely, Ron G. |
| You guys rock!
I can only
imagine how many idiots must email you guys for prices on guitars in a
day…most of which never to hear from again. Thanks so
much, |
| To the GREAT
GUY'S at wild west guitars! Thanks so very much for such awesome service!
You Guy's really care about your customers and it shows! The Guitar showed
up on time and just beautiful! I will be buying from you again real soon!
Thanks again!
Sincerely, Tina H. |
| I was in about
a week ago and bought a new Dr. Z MAZ Jr. from you guys. I just wanted to say
thanks for the help and let you know what a great store you guys have there.
Boutique type stores can be a little intimidating (at least for me), but
you all made me feel comfortable. The amp is killer! Thank you so much!
I will now begin saving up for a CS Tele. Or maybe a Suhr... Dev T. |
| Just a quick
note to let you know that I'm absolutely blown away with the Fender '59 Closet
Classic P-Bass (Vintage Blonde) I purchasesd from your fine establishment!
This thing kicks some serious booty. Thank you for your super-fast email
replys, and 100% hassle-free transaction. Best Regards, Jim F |
| I just wanted
to say thanks for the awesome support and great attitudes of everyone at
your store. This is the way that musical instruments should be sold. You
gave me the time of day and showed that you cared without even knowing me
and gave me the service that I feel everyone deserves but never gets. My
new PRS Modern Eagle is awesome!!! I can’t believe how good of a guitar
this is. I never dreamed that such a guitar would ever cease to exist. I
have lowered the action already and set the guitar up perfectly and it sounds
amazing. I have had more compliments about the guitar and the sound of it
rather than how my bands gig was this weekend. That could either be a good
thing or a bad thing I guess. Once again, thank you so much, I look forward
to many future purchases. When my Dad and I are in Cali, we will stop in
for a visit. Thanks a million, Mike V |
| A great number
of things converged and I became the proud owner of a NOS Baker B1. It was
sold to me by none other than Gene’s brother-in-law, Jim Lovinggood,
from Wild West Guitars. Jim was exceptional and it was an excellent buying
experience. If it looks familiar, then you probably saw it featured in WWG's
ad in the August Guitar Player (believe it or not, I only saw that ad a
few minutes *after* I sent an inquiry). In fact, Jim got Gene to sign the
ad and sent it to me.
So after nearly 4 years in a vault, serial WW004 was delivered on 8/4 to finally become someone’s Number 1. |
| I would just
like to thank Brian, Jim & the whole crew @ wild west. for the help
in obtaining this guitar. I've been playing PRS since early 90's but never
expected the awsomeness of a PRS 513 Private Stock. I started looking for 1
about a year ago. I am sincerly exuberent. If you ever need a letter of
refference please don't hesitate to call.
Thanks Again, |
| Hi Jim, After a little fumble by UPS when they routed the guitar from California to Connecticut by way of Louisville, Kentucky to Orlando, Florida and then to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and finally to Hartford, Connecticut I received it as promised on Friday. Just letting you know that it was everything I hoped for and it is exactly as described and pictured on your website. It came perfectly set up and tuned (even after 4 jet take-offs and landings) and that's a testament to both your quality control at Wild West as well as that of PRS. Thanks for all your help. This guitar is now the finest in my collection and the first one that I've hated to put down even after playing it from sun up to sun down. Thanks again, |
| David here
again, just wanted to let you know that the 62 tele arrived today and I am totally satisfied with it. Its the best guitar I have ever owned and can't put it down for a minute. A real big thanks to all you guys there and keep up the good work and if I save more money I may even decide on buying the Rory Gallagher Strat, my wife would kill me though ! ! ! Cheers and good luck |
| I wanted to
write you back and thank you so much for helping me make my Baker B1 selection. I am very glad for the choice that you helped me make, and the guitar is one of the best I have ever seen in it's price range (maybe any price range for that matter). I mean other guitars may have more inlay work with some fancy carvings or some extra bells and whistles, but the construction and tone of this guitar really hits the mark dead on center. I feel somewhat fortunate to have been able to obtain the guitar since they seem to be sonewhat hard to find. But I am especially happy that this guitar had features not common to most Bakers (like a bound ebony fret board, and bound headstock with ebony overlay plus an inlaid Baker logo). This combination seems to be a little more limited on the Baker's that I have seen for sale. Anyway your recommendations were straight up, and I am VERY happy for them. Thanks again! Cordially, Michael V. Brown |
| Thought i'd drop you a line to let you know that my lovely orange GMP Roxie arrived in england the other day and all is great with her - she is another real looker and a great player and alongside her silver sparkle sister they really compliment each other! - suprisingly, it didnt even need a re-setup after the long journey here unlike the other one that did - so that was a bonus... |
Jim, my
Taylor DDSM arrived today and looks OK !! Can't wait to put it through a few
hours of playing !! Just wanted to let you know that I received it...
I really feel like I got a GREAT deal and have told a few guitar buddies
about your place, price, and above all, the manner in which you treated
me on the phone, which sealed the deal for me. Thanks for a very pleasant
experience and hope we can do business again sometime. |
| Brian, My husband, Steve, and I were in the other day on our fist visit to Wild West. I just had to write you and express our sincere gratitude and amazement at your establishment and setup. I hope not to ramble, but there are so many wonderful things to comment on. First, your attitude towards us as customers was sincerely astonishing. I have never come across anyone so genuinely nice, easy going, knowledgeable, accommodating and non-pressing in any music store ( or most any other place for that mater), nor has my husband, who has been patronizing music stores for the past 16 years. We just wish we had come across Wild West sooner! the process of purchasing was easier than could be imagined. I've wanted a Bongo bass for quite a while and have been told by too many "other places" that what I wanted just wasn't made or couldn't be ordered. You made the process simple and waiting 90 days is not a concern. ( O.K. - so I'll be sitting on pins and needles waiting to get it, but only because of excitement)! Your selection is incredible. Youv'e got so many beautiful guitars, cool funky amps and a few guitars that my husband is already salivating over! Of course, last but not least, the VooDoo Lounge. WOW. Steve was absolutely correct when he said that's a place he could die in. I have honestly never seen something so breathtaking and cool. So much so that we literally haven't been able to stop talking about it for days! That place is what wev'e only dreamed about as being the coolest stage/game/bar/party and all encompassing room. You guys really hit the mark! In closing, I'd like to say that we have never walked out of another music establishment smiling, thoroughly pleased and just plain stoked. You helped make our first visit an incredible experience. We're really happy to finally have an alternative to those poorly staffed, stocked, managed, and franchised music store wannabes. We're looking forward to many visits in the future. thank you again. Sincerely, Reagan L. |
| Hi Brian &
Jim. I wanted to thank you again for the beautiful Gretsch,
the savings, and the time you spent with us on Wednesday. The Gretsch plays
absolutely beautifully. Both my daughter and I were very impressed with your
knowledge, the beautiful instruments and amps and the setting you have created. Thanks again. Best regards, Geoff S. |
| Just wanted
to say thanks again for your excellent customer service. It is very refreshing to see a company and its employees put forth the effort that you and Wild West do. I have been using the Gretsch the last few days at a conference where I have been performing. It was nice to hear that guitar rolling through the mains and felling it in the subs. Tonight I am using the G & L and am excited to hear it. I know it’s going to sound great. I was glad I was on a break to come by and pick it up. There is somewhere between 600-800 people here and everyone wants to know what my guitar is. I am proud to tell them about it and to say where I got it from. Just want to thank you for helping the everyday working musician. Matt S. |
The
guitar, (PRS Modern Eagle)
is really scary-good.I wrote it up on Harmony-Central too (of course I mentioned WWG). I can't imagine ever buying a better guitar. I've bought guitars over the years that I've liked, but I never thought they were THE ONE. I dig that it's made to be played, not just hung behind glass and admired. No high gloss finish, just mahogany, lots of Brazilian rosewood and hard-to-find curly heartwood maple. At first I didn't believe it was meant to be a player's guitar, but then I plugged in. Again, scary-good. Take care Jim. If I ever need anything I'll give you a call first, Best wishes, Warren |
| Hello, I just purchased a new Jackson SLS guitar from your store, sight unseen except for some email pictures you sent me. The guitar is beautiful to look at and play, and I know I got a great deal as well. To the employees of Wild West I want you to know that it was a real pleasure doing business over the phone with you. Everyone was very professional, met my needs, and were always pleasant to talk to. I have dealt with so many music companies across the US as both a seller and a buyer, and I truly have to say that your company sets the standard when it comes to treating the customer right. Although I live on the other side of the continent, should the occasion arise, I will definitely recommend your company as the place to purchase equipment. For future purchases I may make, I will call upon Wild West once again. A sincere thanks to all of you and keep up the excellent work. Doug R |
| Thank
you so much for selling me this wonderful guitar. It has arrived today
and is in perfect condition. The guitar plays wonderfully and the sound
as someone on Harmony Central said is an amp breaker. |
| Thanks
again very much. Can't wait. And your/Wild West offer to drive 75 miles
was above and beyond the call... Tell your boss that Wild West is top
of the list for any future purchases. |
| I just
wanted to let you guys down at Wild West Guitars know how happy I am with
my recent purchase from your great store. I've been in the market for
some time for a small, all tube, Class A amp that I could drive at lower
volumes and record with. I came in last week looking to try out a Bad
Cat Mini Cat. I was treated with trust, courtesy, and respect as I was
led into the "amp room." Boy, what a collection! |
"Well
I finally did it. I put in my Order for three Custom USA

Guys: Just wanted to let you know that it was a pleasure buying my Hot Cat from WWG. You guys are truly the standard when it comes to service and friendliness. It’s great being able to test most of the amps I was considering in a quiet and private atmosphere. I’m looking forward to buying from you again. Take care, Jamie D |
| Thanks Again!
Hey Guys I just wanted to say thanks again for the outstanding customer |
I
just wanted to thank you
again for all of your help and great service that my wife and I received
this last Monday and Wednesday. I came in Monday looking for a Suhr
Standard, but when I came back Wednesday to try it again I left with
a McCarty and a Maz
38. Jim answered all my questions, and held up as good if not better
than my wife did. I love the McCarty (even though the natural 22 with
the trem sounded great too). But, after playing the Mc when I got home,
I finally got out old faithfull, a G&L Skyhawk that was given to me
15 years ago that now has Fralin Blues in it, and it sounds like a different
instrument to me thru the Maz. I am waiting for my Tone Pros bridge this
week for my Godin SP90 (w/Fralins also) so I can get reaquainted with
that one also. Thanks again, and I hope you all have a great New Year.
Blessings,
Steve H. |
