A few months ago, The Squid alerted you to the upcoming Les Paul Estate Auction from Julien’s Auctions. Well, the two day auction is finally upon us, and earlier this week, Julien’s Auctions released the full 410-page catalog online for your perusing pleasure. Unless you’ve got some big bucks, consider this your one shot to take a look at the multitude of items Les Paul collected over the years.

1952 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop
No serial number – Goldtop with Trapeze tailpiece and bound fingerboard. Tuners have been changed to Grover’s with original case. Back of headstock is signed by Les Paul. This is one of the earliest bound Les Paul guitars from the first year of production.
