A self-proclaimed "vintage guy" Joe Satriani thought it would be "interesting to try to do some crazy things—"play fast things going up and down" on the upper frets of a 24-fret guitar while not having to worry about knocking his knuckles on wood. It's now much easier to hit an E, F# or G with this Ibanez Joe Satriani guitar. The JS2400's Prestige neck has much better clearance, more comfortable, more ergonomic while keeping the basic aesthetic of the JS guitar.
